Arup Banerjee
Arup Banerjee joined Updata Partners in 2008 as an Analyst. He supports the firm's business development, deal sourcing and due diligence efforts.
Prior to joining Updata, Mr. Banerjee worked at Citigroup as an analyst in the Global Technology Investment Banking Group, where he focused on a variety of equity, debt and M&A transactions in the software, IT services and communications equipment sectors. Several companies Mr. Banerjee covered include: Nortel Networks, WNS, Hewitt, Nuance, Open Link Financial and Echo Global Logistics. Earlier, Mr. Banerjee worked at Citigroup as an analyst in the North American Power Investment Banking Group. Mr. Banerjee also has experience as a software entrepreneur, having founded several software and web start-ups.
Mr. Banerjee earned a B.S. in economics, graduating with distinction, a B.A. in computer science and a certificate in markets and management from Duke University.
