Greg Olear
Greg Olear, Vice President, Finance, joined Updata Partners in 2006 bringing close to twenty years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining Updata, Mr. Olear was Vice President of Finance at Digital 5, a provider of software for streaming multimedia content.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Olear managed a significant portion of the finance department, including accounting and reporting for technology spin-offs, as Director of Financial Accounting and Treasury Operations at the world-renowned research facility, Sarnoff Corporation. Prior to Sarnoff, he held various leadership positions with KPMG LLP, focusing on assurance, accounting and financial advisory services including public offerings, compliance filings, private offerings, bank funding, revenue recognition and tax reporting for clients in the high-tech industry.
Mr. Olear graduated from Rider University with a B.S. in commerce and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
