Conor Mullett
Conor Mullett is a co-founder and General Partner of Updata Partners based in the Edison, NJ office. Since joining the Updata team in 1999, Mr. Mullett has been actively involved in building the Updata Partners organization and partnering with entrepreneurially driven, high-growth IT companies.
Mr. Mullett serves or has served as a director or observer on the boards of Updata Partners portfolio companies: GetPaid (sold to Sungard), eSecurity (sold to Novell:NOVL), ContextWeb, ForeSee Results, iContact, Management Dynamics, Netkey and OrderMotion.
Prior to joining Updata, Mr. Mullett was a Senior Vice President with William E. Simon & Sons, a New Jersey and California-based private equity firm founded by the former Treasury Secretary, where he focused on developing the firm's IT investment strategy, and earlier with GE Capital.
Mr. Mullett was named the 2007 New Jersey Financier of the Year by the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC) and was previously recognized as one of the "40 Under 40" by NJ Business. He currently serves on the NJTC's Venture Advisory Board and is a founding board member of the AngelVineVC investors' network. Mr. Mullett received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
