Total Defense Partners with Facebook to Safeguard Users from Online Dangers

Exclusive offering includes free internet security assessment and six months of Total Defense Anti-Virus

	4.		Windows Update Check – ensures that the Windows Update service is enabled and active on the system
	5.		System Restore Check – examines whether the System Restore service is active and working
	6.		Junk Files Scan – checks the hard disk and shows the amount of space being occupied unnecessarily by unwanted junk files or similar temporary files
	7.		Browser Check – scans for the security and privacy settings of Internet Explorer and advises on its status
	8.		P2P Check – examines the system for any Peer to Peer or similar file sharing applications that could be a threat to the system security, and are very commonly responsible for downloading unwanted malware
	9.		Memory Check – scans for the amount of available memory to the user, and indicates if there’s unnecessary memory usage that can be freed up to enhance the system performance
	10.		Internet Check – scans the most common internet and browsing ports, checking for Internet connectivity and advising if there are any security issues
